The Cyberculture Working Group is a collection of University of Maryland and neighboring graduate students and faculty members from across the disciplines interested in exploring the intersections between the Internet, culture, and society. We meet face to face once a month to pursue a number of activities, including hosting guest speakers; discussing selected readings; presenting original works-in-progress; conducting hands-on workshops for students, staff, and faculty; organizing community service projects; and assembling proposals and papers for local and national presentations, publications, and grants.
